Hi Bill. What a great find for you with the Creech books. I enjoyed your post. It's fun to see what/who sparks the creative genie. I just read a book that is not the sort of book I usually read. It was a ghost story. The cover made me pick it up. Anyway, I'm glad I did. I loved the way the author portrayed the ghosts. I've not seen that in a kids book. (Again, not what I usually read, so take my words with a grain of salt). The book is The Year of Shadows by Claire Legrand. I had some problems with the plot, but again, that's me. Take care.

Oh, I also wanted to tell you that today I began reading another Creech novel, Chasing Redbird. Just love the way she writes kids.
